THE ELIPSON TRADITION
In 1948, Elipson revolutionized the high-fidelity industry by creating the first speaker in the shape of a shell, known as the Elipson ball. This innovative design quickly won over audiovisual professionals, equipping numerous recording studios (such as the ORTF) and prestigious concert halls (such as the Opéra du Rhin, Opéra de Paris, and the Comédie Française).
In 1969, Elipson once again made history in the hi-fi world with the launch of the AS-30 model, thus establishing an international reputation in the manufacture of spherical speakers.
Today, the Planet range of speakers perpetuates this French tradition by revisiting this icon of high-end audio in a contemporary way.
